The Supreme Court of Pakistan has imposed a pre-condition on the management of Bahria Town Karachi that the transfer fee or installment payments received by them should be deposited to the SC registrars till the official verdict of SC has been announced on 24th November 2018. Bahria Town Karachi can apply for its expense coverage by the SC Registrar and they will issue them money as per their needs. The transfer fee of plots will be deposited under the umbrella of Supreme Court Registry, however, the tax levied shall be paid one-day in advance in National Bank of Pakistan with the original CNIC Copy of seller/buyers to avoid any delays. The brokers need to perform their duty of clarifying and coordinating with the sellers/buyers to pay transfer fees one day for smooth flow of operation.
Bahria Town Karachi has also fulfiled the stipulation of SC to submit the affidavit as Mr.Malik Riaz personally ensured it is submitted. He further agreed to open SC Registry account to enable all the flow of transfer fees therein. All these steps lead to progress and prosperity of Bahria Town Karachi and it is expected that by the end of 2019 all these minor problems will straighten out, and the rumours concerning the fire break-out in Bahria Town Icon Tower was just an exaggeration as it was a minor fire outburst that was washed out in merely 1-2 hours.
