Foundation stones for RRR projects to be laid next month

The Punjab government plans to lay the foundation stone for two infrastructure projects – Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) and Leh Expressway - in July, a news source reported.
As a major aspect of its budget declaration for the (monetary year) FY2019-20, the provincial government recently designated assets worth PKR 40 billion and PKR 70 billion for the RRR and Leh Expressway ventures, individually. 

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Arif Abbasi will supposedly brief Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan about the two ventures one week from now. Abbasi expressed that the city office has arranged its proposals for finishing the RRR venture on a Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) premise. 

The Leh Expressway augmentation undertaking incorporates extending it by eight kilometers, alongside certain progressions which will be made to its foundation. These proposed changes incorporate the development for a commercial area and development of sewerage channel and flood channel offices.
