The government is planning to start high-rise projects in three major cities under the Prime Minister's (PM) Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) venture, a news source announced. For this end, it collaborates with the private sector to launch four low-cost housing projects in Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar.
Sources have uncovered that the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF), which works under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Construction, will start the construction of the skyscraper project in the cities mentioned above.
In Lahore, the administration will launch two of these projects: one in the Katcha zone involving 500 housing units; the other in Manga Utara comprising of 2,700 units of the same.
In Karachi, the government intends to build a 4,000-lodging unit-solid advancement at Jam Chakro (close Surjani Town, and spread over a zone of 184 kanals) under a joint endeavor plan. For this development, the specialists concerned have cleared the land for the FGEHF to initiate with its tasks.
The third undertaking, situated in Peshawar's Balarazai territory, is at present under development, and is set to cover a region of 3,500 kanals.
