Jubilee Town was originally launched by LDA in 1998. Jubilee Town is a master plan of LDA. Location
Jubilee Town is almost situated in between Multan Road & Raiwind Road near to Izmir Town. Some of the best societies in the city are located in the same area. Tricon Village, Punjab Government Servant Housing Scheme, and LDA Avenue are some of those societies. Bahria Town is not far from the town either. Moreover, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and Lahore campus of the University of Sargodha is located nearby as well.

Jubilee Town Housing Scheme is a big project consisting of almost 4300 residential and commercial plots. It consists of 6 Blocks. A Block, B Block, C Block, D Block, E Block & F Block
Jubilee Town is featuring 3-marla, 5-marla, 7-marla, 10-marla, and 1-Kanal plots. This housing society features wide roads throughout the scheme, which have all been constructed. These streets measure at least 30 feet in width while the Main Boulevard is 150 feet wide.
Prices Trend in 2018
It might be prominent in the table below, for 1-Kanal plots can run so high because these are located on the main 150-feet wide road & many plots here are semi-commercial. The price variation lies within the mentioned bracket.

Development & Possession 

The roads throughout the society, measuring 150-feet, 80-feet, 60-feet, 40-feet, and 30-feet, have all been laid. The development is 100% complete and possession is available throughout the society. Construction has begun throughout the society and houses have been constructed in over 90% of the plots in Block C while the society, in general, has seen 40% construction.
80% of the commercial area has been developed and two plazas have already been constructed. Furthermore, the houses and plots on the main 150-feet road are semi-commercial plots and the houses there are being used for semi-commercial purposes now too. 
Majority of the land is allotted & the development work on the parks and mosques has not yet completed. The town already has the Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Science and work on Indus Hospital Punjab is being done nowadays. Three or four schools are in the society too, including Allied School. 


LDA Notice Regarding Possession
LDA recently issued a public notice thereby informing all plot holders of Jubilee Town, Canal Road, Lahore that development work at the society has been completed, and majority of people have obtained possessions of their plots. The building period of houses at Jubilee Town has extended by 31st December 2018, it is instructed to all members of Jubilee Town to apply possessions of their plots and follow the given building period to construct their houses in the society. After the given date of 31st December 2018, building period surcharge will be levied on plot owners by LDA.
At one window cell of LDA plot owners can apply for possessions of their plots, the owners should get their maps approved from LDA after obtaining possession letter to initiate constructions. 


Investment Perspective
Prices are not particularly high apart from its good location and decent commercial area. The residential plots are priced well. It might be a good idea to buy a plot there right now. It is a well-developed locality with a significant number of houses and hundreds of families are living here, it might be a good option for genuine buyers.
