LDA begins remodeling Thokar Niaz Baig chowk

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started renovating Thokar Niaz Baig chowk upon the bearings of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, as indicated by a news source. 

LDA Director General Usman Moazzam visited the site and examined the repairs being made on the streets and walkways. He additionally inspected the water seepage framework reclamation and different procedures. Planning and Development (P&D) Director Aslam Parvez, Project Director Iqrar Hussain, and other concerned authorities were all present at the event. 

The Director-General addressed the media during this visit and said that since Chowk Thokar Niaz Baig is one of the busiest lanes of the city, the traffic stream of the millions of vehicles going through it every day will be facilitated through this renovating. 

He also instructed the authorities to develop overhead extensions for people on foot and mentioned the outline of territories proper for zebra intersections. He requested the evacuation of illicit hoardings also and requested a default style to be intended for the special motivations behind workplaces and shops. He coordinated all the pertinent divisions and offices on this venture to work in all-out concordance.
