LDA Reactivates Committee for Approval of Private Housing Schemes in the City

According to recent news published in the newspaper, Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa have reactivated the committee for approval of private housing schemes in the city. 

The reports say that the committee's mission is to increase openness and transparency around the approval procedure of private housing schemes. It was also mentioned in the news that the private housing societies will be subject to a stringent approval process.

The news source said that officials from Metropolitan Planning and Additional DG Housing would be on the scrutiny committee. The committee's report will be given to the Chief Metropolitan Planner for final approval after it has been looked over by the committee.

After that, the proposals will be sent to the right authority by the chief metropolitan planner.

Also, the LDA Additional DG Housing will be in charge of the committee. All directors and deputy directors of metropolitan planning, the LDA Director of Law, and an assistant director will be members.
