LDA to increase Commercialization and Building Plan Charges

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has chosen to increase the prices w.r.t the commercialization and endorsement of building designs according to a news source. This expansion comes in accordance with the updated rates of immovable property in Lahore.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) recently made notice of increased updates in the valuation rates of immovable property across the country.

LDA has guided its challan counters to issue refreshed challans reflecting the change in it. The municipal office charges 20% of the DC rate as its general commercialization expense. So also, it charges 1.25% of the DC rate as a yearly commercialization expense.

Following FBR's revaluation drive, the costs of private properties in Lahore have seen a flood of up to PKR 200,000 for each Marla. So also, the rates of business properties have augmented up by PKR 800,000 for each Marla.
