LDA to Reconstruct Six Corridors of Lahore City

LDA is initiating giant steps in the constant renovation and improvement of Lahore City. Now LDA City wants to reconstruct and beautify six corridors of the city and for this purpose appealed from engineering firms to join hands. Lahore Development Authority ( LDA ) is always striving to upgrade the infrastructure framework of Lahore and this time they have gone a bit far in their goals to face-lift the majestic city of Lahore City.
LDA aims to provide well-built & wider road network to facilitate the locals and is on an active mission to reconstruct the following roads,
• Shahkam Chowk, Defence Road, Lahore
• Jora Pull Allama Iqbal Town near Islamia College of Commerce
• Walton Road between Packages Limited & Walton Flyover, Ferozpur Road
LDA has also invited proposals for cosmetic refurbishment and restoration of following corridors and monuments to increase the exotic appeal of the structures. It includes decoration and artistic painting work of Canal Road from Thokar Niaz Baig to Harbanspura, Lahore Metro Bus Corridor from Gajjumata to Civil Secretariat, Lahore Metro Bus Corridor from Civil Secretariat to Shahdara.
The engineering firms will complete the reconstruction task free of any cost under the supervision of LDA authority and LDA administration will provide designs for construction & take charge of both projects. The selected companies will be applauded by way of awards, logo displays & acknowledgment for the given assignment. The mentioned corridors & routes are the most popular and visited areas in Lahore hence remodeling these landmark structures will have a huge positive impact on the outlook of the entire City.
