MDA conducts balloting process for 20 000 Taiser Town Scheme 45 plots

The Malir Development Authority (MDA) on Thursday finished the balloting procedure for plots arranged in Taiser Town Scheme 45, a news source announced. The expert specifically carried out balloting procedure of 20,000 plots situated in the plan. 

Beforehand, the MDA had gotten 170, 000 applications for ballot process; reflective of the residents' optimistic response to the provision of affordable housing ventures in the city. In front of the ballot, applicants had assembled in long queues outside the Silk Bank offices assigned for the issuance of structures. 

Successful candidates will be required to pay development charges recently imparted under the installment plan. The allottees should submit: 

• PKR 1,000 for every square yard (sq yd) for 80 sq yd plots 
• PKR 1,500 for every sq yd for 120 sq yd plots 
• PKR 1,800 for every sq yd for 240 sq yd plots 
• PKR 2,000 for every sq yd for 400 sq yd plots
