New Town Gwadar Development and Price Updates

New Town Housing Project 1st Phase was launched first time in 1986, this project was purely for locals. Initially, very nominal charges were paid for 500 square yard and 1000 square yard Residential Plots. Almost more than 50% area at here is populated now and all basic facilities are available, i.e. electricity, drinking water and telephone. There after Phase-II. III, IV-A and Phase IV-B were announced. Phase-II and III is also allotted to locals whereas in Phase-IV, some plots were allotted to the people outside of Baluchistan. It is surprising that these plots were allotted only on the payment of Rs five to ten thousand. This Housing Project works under the supervision of DCO Gwadar. New Town is a society located within Old Town within the main Gwadar city. Some of the most important roads of the city, Jinnah Avenue and Airport Road, run right through it while Marine Drive, Padizar Avenue, and Pushkan Avenue are also located nearby. The location is fantastic and, according to Afzal, this is going to be one of the busiest areas of Gwadar in the times to come.

Presently New Town Gwadar is the only developed society which is providing all basic facilities to its residents in Gwadar. Plots and houses are available for sale and rent as well. The society is regulated by GDA itself and offers a lot of investment opportunities in terms of residential plots and commercial plots. New Town also has sea facing high rise commercial plots which come before the Marine drive. Presently it has 4 phases and is located right in the center of the city. In the past there have been issues regarding duplication of plots and they seem to continue till today. It is recommended to be careful when buying here and follow the verification procedure before concluding any deal. All main arteries converge into New Town and therefore it will always be a significant area for investors as Gwadar Develops.

Current Updates

Currently phase I is highly developed water, electricity, and sewerage utilities are available in the project partially. Development in Phase I also means that possession is available there and a large number of houses have been constructed in the phase 1. Main Boulevard has been completed throughout several phases. Yet, all of the work is incomplete and will take its due time.

Current Market Tendencies

The market was low in few past months but after the general elections the dust is all settle and the market is taking hike now the prices are getting high of the land. Also if we talk about phase 5, it is going to be located in Mouza Ankara Janoobi right behind Golden Palm City. Expectedly the map will launch around October or November this year.  Now a look at rates
