Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has endorsed the development of 32,000 low-cost houses for the occupants of Peshawar, Hangu, and Swat regions, according to a news source.
The CM gave his whole-hearted approval during a gathering, which was held at the Chief Minister's House in Peshawar on Tuesday. Special Assistant Iftikhar Durrani, Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub, and Provincial Minister Amjad Ali were all present at the event.
The provincial government will build these houses in Peshawar (20,000 units), Hangu (9,000 units) and Swat (3,000 units) under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) venture.
CM Mahmood Khan guided the provincial housing secretary to settle a concurrence with the Pakistan Housing Authority for the NPHP KP venture. He additionally requested the experts worried to conduct a feasibility study for the Peshawar housing scheme inside 20 days, and for the Swat and Hangu housing plans within 10 days.
