Non filers who purchase property in new FY to be penalised

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has chosen to enforce a 5% punishment on non-filers who will buy property in the new fiscal year beginning July 1, a news source announced. 

The board will most likely force and collect the fine simply after the parliament supports the Finance Bill 2019-20. A similar bill has proposed the inconvenience of a 1% retaining expense on filers (of annual government forms) who will buy property in FY2019-20. 

Moreover, the FBR has likewise chosen to finish the strategies required for the usage of new valuation tables shared for 18 urban communities, June 30. These valuation tables will be utilized for estimation and gathering of Advance Income Tax (otherwise called retention duty) and Capital Gains Tax.
