RDA to Crack Down on Illegal Housing Schemes in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has increased its crackdown operations on illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi. According to recent news, legal action was taken against three illegal housing schemes as RDA's extensive crackdown campaign against rulebreakers is in full swing. And these three housing schemes are:

  • Islamabad Marina City Mouza Garbal
  • Seven Enclave Housing Society
  • Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society Mouza Mohri Khatran and Garbal

Details reveal that during the operation, the site offices of the illegal housing developments were demolished. Also, the enforcement team has been taking stringent action against illegal housing schemes by issuing notices to their proprietors.

In the past, booking offices, billboards, and main entrances/gates of different real estate developments were demolished. These include Cighu Farmhouse Housing Scheme, Royal Ghar Housing Scheme, mouza Chak Cighu, New Iqra City/Iqra Residencia, mouza Pariyal, mouza Chakri, Jorian Rawat Road, and Chak Beli Khan Road.

RDA spokesperson says that the authority intends to take severe action against rulebreakers in order to safeguard the interests of citizens.

He also said that RDA is dedicated to guaranteeing the development of legal and approved housing schemes in the area, and people who fail to adhere to the regulations will face the consequences. The goal of RDA's ongoing initiatives is to make Rawalpindi a more safe and more secure city to live.
