Chief Statistician Dr. Naeem Zafar has said that the Government of Pakistan has formulated an all-inclusive strategy for the seventh digital census to measure accurate population and housing data.
He asked that a digital census is being conducted for the first time in the history of Pakistan. While providing a briefing on N3 Center, Chief Statistician Dr. Naeem Zafar said that their team held consultations with the provincial administration on the subject of the digital census.
Further, he added that the Deputy Chairman Planning Commission would head the National Census Coordinating Senator. According to him, a total of 614 Census Support Centers have been set up across Pakistan, while 250 households will have their separate block, and the result of each block will be disclosed separately.
Chief Statistician Dr. Naeem Zafar said that the economic census would be conducted one year after the census, and the option of 5 languages has been given in the census questionnaire.
