Bahria Education & Medical City (EMC) Lahore is not as eminent as other Bahria projects. This project is a consistently slow-burning project. It offers a comparatively picturesque, suburban lifestyle to the buyers. EMC promises all the modern amenities of Bahria Town along with an international standard education and medical complex. Location

 This project is situated on Sue-e-Asal Road, just 20 minute-drive from Lahore Ring Road’s Gujju Mattah interchange. Raiwind Road is also located nearby and so is LDA City. LDA City is particularly significant for Bahria EMC because notable development has been taking place there, and this will provide additional amenities to the residents of Bahria EMC during a transitional phase. LDA City will also connect the Bahria EMC to Lahore Ring Road much more conveniently. LDA City has an interchange opening directly onto Lahore Ring Road.

Development & Possession Status

EMC is spread over 22,000 Kanals and around 9,000 Kanals have been developed.  EMC has divided in three blocks, A, B, and C. noteworthy development has taken place in all of the blocks. Currently, 100% possession is available in Blocks A and B, but partial possession is available in Block C. Awami Villas and Navy Villas are fully developed and ready for living. It is expected that EMC will offer 1 & 2 Kanal residential plots in future. The parks are complete in Block A. The grey structure for the mosque is complete too. The underground electricity has been completed.  And the amenities of water and sewerage are also available. Bahria EMC still doesn’t have gas though but soon it will be available.

It is very much expected the medical and education complex for which the society has been named will begin after the launch of remaining parts of this housing society.

Investment perspective

The housing scheme does have investment potential, but it is medium term. Development has been burning slowly but consistently. Constructions of a few houses have also begun and Bahria Town has constructed its own villas too. So, it is expected that buyers will begin taking an interest & they will buy and settle there.

Lahore Ring Road Interchange is going to benefit the project, it can be seen that it will. As soon as the interest in the projects peaks, the rates will be shooting up as well.
