CDA directed to issue half month notices before taking action on illegal property

The Senate Standing Committee on Interior has coordinated the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to issue 15-days notices before making a move against illegal development, a news source announced.
Following a thorough discussion, the committee instructed the CDA officials to issue 15-day notices before they demolish illegal structures in the city.
CDA Chairman Amer Ali also informed the committee about the authority’s ongoing anti-encroachment drive, and the demolitions included in it. He revealed that officials were currently demolishing buildings that were constructed along Kashmir Highway’s right of way.
