Celebrating this Independence Day with the onset of Tree Plantation Drive and Naya Pakistan

Pakistan’s Independence Day, annually held on August 14, the nation celebrates the country’s independence from the British rule on that date. We celebrate this day as an occasion with patriotic zest, on this day we promote patriotism and national unity. It is a day of remembrance of those people who laid their lives for an upcoming generation so they can live their lives without any fear. On this occasion, Pakistan’s national flag is hoisted on the public, private buildings, residences and monuments at dawn. Official buildings, including Parliament House, are decorated and colorfully lit.

Pakistan plant a tree and hit its billion tree goal in August 2018

PLANTING trees is a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and its reward continues even after the death of the person who plants a tree. Today the world is suffering from major environmental problems. Global warming has become one of the problems and our country is facing this problem same like the whole world. Ozone depletion and pollution are some more burning issues. Solution to these problems lies in planting more trees. On 14th August children decorate their streets and houses with flags balloons and lightings. This 14th Aug let’s change the trend and start planting. Because planting trees is the solution to save the earth and our beloved homeland. This year Pakistan hit its billion tree goal in August 2018. Now, the country will alive with newly planted saplings. Decades of felling and natural disasters have drastically reduced Pakistan’s forests. This can be the occasion to restore the natural beauty of our homeland. Planting in your house makes you feel fresh. Also, plants keep the air clean & give a pleasant feel to the environment.

Oath taken ceremony

This 14th of August is going to be more special as expectedly Mr. Imran Khan will take the oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan expectedly on the 12th or 13th of August 2018. The oath ceremony will be held in national assembly Islamabad. Yet the official date of oath taking ceremony is not announced. May this Independence Day brought prosperity to our country.
