CM Punjab Approves Elevated Expressway Project

The CM Punjab Usman Buzdar says Premier Imran Khan will soon inaugurate the Elevated Expressway Project to be built from Gulberg Main Boulevard to M2 to provide easy access to the motorway.

The Cabinet Standing Committee for Finance & Development authorized PKR 60 billion and the inclusion of this flagship project in the Annual Development Program (ADP). Later on, Chief Minister Buzdar formally approved the project and congratulated the people of Lahore.

He ordered the concerned authorities to complete this sought-after Elevated Expressway Project on time as it is the need of the hour for the general masses of Lahore. The CM Usman Bazdar directed the authorities to adopt the master plan according to the future requirements and asked to submit it in consultation with the stakeholders.

While attending the meeting, various agreements between LDA and Bank of Punjab (BOP) regarding the construction of Naya Pakistan Apartments under the government's Apna Ghar Scheme for the lower and middle class were also reviewed.
