Commercial Tariff for Water to be increased by 42 percent

To conserve water, the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) has decided to increase tarrif for commercial water connections, reported a news source. The authority has also terminated water connections for over 450 services stations in the city.

The new tariff will exclusively be for the beauty parlors, hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, theatres, government offices and related businesses. The revenue collected in terms of tax on water tariff will also help government with national exchequer it needs right now.
