According to recent news published in a newspaper, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has launched a helpline, 1237, so that people can call and get information about the processes.

The FDA General Director, Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, was the one who inaugurated this helpline. During his speech at the opening ceremony, Chaudhary said that the FDA is doing multiple reforms that will improve the FDA's quality of services. He said that the telephone facility is one of these important reforms.

The helpline will help people get the information they need about the Town Planning and Estate Management departments. It includes the following information:

Transfer of Properties

Town Planning Reports

Ownership Certificates

Completion Certificates

Issuing Of Katchi Abadis

Issuing of No Objection Certificates (NOCs)

Residential and Commercial Building Plan Approval

Legal Status of Housing Schemes and the Approval Process, and many more.

Chaudhry said that based on feedback from the public, this system would be expanded further. He said that this information system is being set up so that the "agent mafia" can be caught and people can get real information.
