HBL Opens Branch in Gwadar Free Zone
HBL opened its branch in Gwadar Free Zone on 29th January 2018 and by doing this it has become the First Pakistani Bank to establish a branch in Gwadar City as well as China. HBL has achieved a milestone of becoming the first branch to be opened in the new business centre in Gwadar Free Zone. HBL also holds the honour of setting up first Pakistani Bank branch in China, to be precise in Urumqi – a city with great potential. HBL is privileged to offer a Chinese Yuan (CNY) account as this will facilitate in Pak-China business transactions and play an instrumental role in CPEC.
The Branch was inaugurated by Ambassador of China M r. Yao Jing along with Mr.Zhang Baozhong, Chairman China Overseas Port Holding Company Ltd and Mr Rayomond Kotwal, Acting President and CEO HBL. Mr Kotwal at the auspicious occasion expressed joy and pride to be playing a leading role in supporting Pakistan-China Economic Corridor opening new doors of the business, trade, and investment between the two countries.
HBL offers a diverse product range covering corporate and individual customers for the development of CPEC. HBL also provides financing, trade-based facilities, guarantees, remittances, loans, debit and credit cards and much more. HBL stands tall and does not want to limit its services to customers in Pakistan and China but they aim to market CPEC opportunities across borders by using Global access reach and customer base.
