Features

The new ordinances proposed by city administrators for commercial building developments have been finalized, as indicated by a news report. These guidelines had been updated after the government evacuated its previous height limitations on structures in the capital city. This errand was attempted by a board headed by Director Building Control Faisal Naeem

In an ongoing press conference, Naeem expressed that the board of trustees had concluded these standing rules and would exhibit them to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for endorsement. He uncovered that under these bylaws, there would be no confinements on the number of storeys added to a structure, yet development would occur in understanding to the stipulated Floor Area Ratio (FAR).

For Marakiz, CDA authorities have proposed a FAR of 1:6 for plots more than 1,000 square yards, and 1:5 for plots estimated 1,000 square yards.

For the Blue Area, a FAR of 1:8 has been set for plots sized up to 300 square yards; 1:9 for 3,000 to 5,000 square yards; and 1:10 for plots estimated 5,000 square yards or more. Furthermore, for class-three strip malls, one additional story would be taken into account making ground in addition to two stories. The CDA will take up these proposed standing rules and think about them for its last endorsement.
