Pakistan Construction Industry expected to get more than 5 percent Growth Rate between 2022 and 2025

The construction industry of Pakistan is expected to get more than 5 percent growth rate between 2022 and 2025, a research report of 2021 on the trends and opportunities of Pakistan Construction Market claims. It is mainly due to increasing investments in the construction industry, healthy export growth, and boosting manufacturing activities in the country.

As per the report, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will introduce accelerated construction projects in the next three years from 2022 to 2025. It is one of the top reasons for Pakistan's construction industry's expected average annual growth rate of 5.1%.

The federal budget of Rs.848 billion for the current financial year includes Rs.91.90 billion for the education & services sector, Rs.34.60 billion for housing & community development, and Rs.28.40 billion for health & communication. And, Rs.26.70 billion has been allocated for the construction industry, while Rs.20.80 billion for the country's energy sector.

The Federal Bureau of Statistics states the construction industry of Pakistan has witnessed an unprecedented growth in the last year of 2021, which has led to an increase in the annual profits of other industries in the sector, despite the Corona epidemic.
