PM Imran says Ravi project case not fought well in LHC

In a video message, the premier, Imran Khan, acknowledged that the legal team of his government didn’t fight the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project case well in Lahore High Court (LHC). He stated, “The project is not about establishing housing societies, but creating a new planned city after Islamabad.”

On Friday, PM Imran Khan sent this recorded message from a site of Ravi that is partially dried up. He hinted that the Punjab government would move Supreme Court against ruling nullifying Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) Ordinance 2021.

He asserted the government had planned the $20 billion Ravi project keeping in mind the details of Malaysia and Dubai. He further announced, “Around $1.5 billion foreign investment has already reached Pakistan for this project.”
